Welcome to our monthly newsletter and we hope our patients in Calgary can enjoy this last touch of winter before spring finally arrives.

Dr. Meschino once again writes our monthly nutrition article. He has summarized the documented evidence related to the ability of natural anti-inflammatory supplements to aid in the treatment of rheumatoid and osteoarthritis conditions as well as other musculoskeletal inflammatory problems (e.g., Tendonitis, bursitis, disc herniation, myositis, fibromyalgia). As these agents have been shown to have fewer side effects than aspirin and other NSAIDs, they should be strongly considered as a replacement for these medications in certain circumstances, or as a means to help reduce the reliance upon these potentially harmful medications. I hope you find this review helpful.

The office will be open on the Friday and Saturday of the Easter weekend with regular office hours.

Until next month, stay healthy and if you have any questions, please let us know.
