Chiropractic On ESPN
Sunnybrook Lanes in Sterling Hts. Michigan was recently hosting the PWBA U.S. Open. One of the bowlers, Carolyn Dorian Ballard, injured her shoulder and arm while bowling her last game of the day on May 30th. Chiropractor, Dr. Jeff Matoshko happened to be playing golf nearby when he was approached by Sunnybrook employees who informed him that one of the bowlers asked to see him. She informed him that she was currently under chiropractic care and would like an adjustment. After checking her, Dr. Matoshko adjusted her with about 100 bowlers and fans looking on. The next day she called and explained that she felt 100% better and requested another adjustment for herself and three other bowlers including tournament winner Tiffany Stanbrough and ESPN announcer Cathy Dorian Lizzi who said she would give chiropractic a plug on air (which she did the following week). In addition to mentioning Dr. Matoshko's name on the air, she said that Carolyn attributed her success to the adjustment she received (she advanced to the championship game).
