Consumers Report Notes High Praise For Chiropractic
Chiropractic was ranked highest for alternative treatments for back pain, according to a recent report from Consumer's Report. People prefer "hands-on" treatments - specifically chiropractic - for both back and neck pain. Respondents considered chiropractic as most effective over conventional medicine to provide the best outcomes. Consumer's Report conducted a survey that included 34,000 readers asking them about their use of alternative therapies. Dr. Howard Beckman, from the University of Rochester, was quoted as stating, "It makes sense to use alternative treatments when the primary treatments are ineffective."
