Hello to all!
We are pleased to announce that on the afternoon of December 8th, Julie Gower, our massage therapist, will be giving a 2-hour infant massage course for parents and their babies. More detailed information is included in this newsletter or contact the office. The size of the class is limited so sign up soon!
The hours for the clinic during the Christmas and New Year's season will be:
Dec. 24 (Wednesday) - 9am - 1pm
Dec. 25 - 28th - Closed
Dec. 29 (Monday) - 9am - 1pm
Dec. 30 (Tuesday) - 9am - 1pm & 2pm - 6pm
Dec. 31 (Wednesday) - 9am - 1pm
Jan. 1 - Closed
Jan. 2 - (Friday) Return to Normal Hours
**Please note that for the two Wednesdays of the holiday season we are open
9am - 1 pm and not our usual 1pm - 7:30pm.

The Effect of Leg Length Discrepancy on Spinal Motion During Gait: Three-Dimensional Analysis in Healthy Volunteers
we have an article taken from a prestigious scientific journal, SPINE. In the experiment, scientists made patients pelvis tilted by putting a wedge under one heel. They concluded that people who have leg length differences "are at greater risk of developing disabling spinal disorders due to exaggerated degenerative change. Therefore, treatment for leg length discrepancy may be helpful in preventing degenerative spinal changes."

Health News - Eating more vegetables, fruit can cut cancer risk
Most cancers are preventable. Experts estimate that 30 percent to 40 percent of cancer risk could be cut by eating a plant-based diet, keeping physically active and maintaining a healthy weight. And not smoking decreases the risk by 60 percent to 70 percent.
