Survey Results Confirm: Albertans Value Chiropractic

The findings of the Satisfaction with Health Care Services: A Survey of Albertans 2006, released on October 4, rated chiropractic with a 90 per cent overall satisfaction rate and a 67 per cent very satisfied rate. Almost the entire group of respondents, 95 per cent, also rated chiropractic as easy to access, with 82 per cent indicating it is very easy to access. The survey also denoted a statistically significant increase in use of chiropractic services across the province.

The survey was released by the Health Quality Council of Alberta, an organization engaged in gathering data and translating it into practical actions aimed at improving the quality, safety and performance of Alberta's health system.
